2023 Korean Culture School News Article in Korea Times

ASIA Families, a non-profit organization that serves Korean adoptees and their families started the Spring semester of Korean Culture School on February 11, 2023. 

The school is located in the First Korean Presbyterian Church (Senior Pastero Sang Bok Lee) in Rockville, MD.  This Spring semester 55 adopted children, 50 adoptive parents, and 30 volunteers total 140 people are joining the program.

Grace Song, the executive director of AISIA Families, encourages attendees by saying “ Learn about Korean culture and language and have confidence in you at the Korean Culture School “

And announced a plan for the new year that the ASIA Families is hosting to Korea tours to Korea with 85 participants ( Tour 1 June 20-June 30, Tour 2 July 2-12) and Camp Rice, a Korean Culture School will take place at a campsite near Baltimore, MD from July  27 through  July 29th for 2 nights and 3 days. 

During the opening ceremony, Selahart Group youth performers performed Nanta drumming, K Pop dance, Korean doll dance and Haegum string and Kayageum to celebrate the opening of the new semester.
